Vocational Development

At SEEM Prep, students gain hands-on experience in a variety of real-world job settings to help them build independence and prepare for life after school. Our vocational program is designed to meet each student’s strengths, needs, and future goals.   Our vocational component offers:
    • Supported work experience during the school day, with transportation and on-site guidance from SEEM Prep job coaches
    • Individualized work schedules that allow students to explore different types of jobs and discover their interests
    • Paid employment opportunities beginning at age 16
    • Students under 16 participate in unpaid internships to begin developing foundational work skills
